Competition Zone
Teams preparing for the TCGA or TAAI computer game tournaments, or the ICGA Computer Olympiad, can play here against a computer opponent under the rules of the same-name events and check how their programs understand the rules. This zone is separate from the other games on Play vs AI, with its own rules, leaderboards and game records.

Where the rules come from and how they are checked
There is no complete written rulebook, so the rules in this zone follow how the tournament platform actually judges games, and are checked by replaying the public records of past tournaments game by game. These are our own checks; the official rules are as announced by the organizers.
- Mahjong: 12 tournaments (TCGA, TAAI and ICGA, 2022–2026); the platform's public records hold 21,744 games. 246 games from ICGA 2024 are excluded because the platform's own records are inconsistent (the same tile discarded twice), leaving 21,498 games replayed: flow and outcome match in 21,496 (the other 2 are a platform bug — it accepts a melded kong upgraded back to an added kong — where our ruling differs), and all four scores match in 21,486. In addition, 176 games played on the tournament platform match in flow, scores and tai.
- Chinese Dark Chess: records since 2020 replayed move by move under the tournament rules — every move must be among the legal moves we compute, and the game must not end earlier for us than it did on the platform, with the ending falling in the category the platform recorded. All 563 games played under the 180-ply no-capture-no-flip draw rule match (456 official-tournament games plus 107 from the NTPU 2022 campus event); of the 520 classroom games played under the 60-ply version, 514 match — the 6 that differ come from NTU 2021-01-21, which used a variant allowing a piece to move several squares at once, not from a different ruling. A further 12 games from the 2021 exhibition are not in a game-record format (skipped), and 2 games are missing from the platform's records.
The original tournament records are publicly downloadable from the tournament platform. Each event comes with full rule notes when it opens; games played in this zone can be replayed from the game records afterwards.
Past tournament records
An index of past tournament records, organized by event, year and tournament, with a citable game id for every game: Past records → (the index pages are in Chinese; player names, dates and game ids are not).
As of 2026-11-04: 63 tournaments, 37,107 games (2020–2026) — Chinese Dark Chess 1,109, Taiwanese Mahjong 21,744, EinStein würfelt nicht 11,590, Geister 2,664. The index keeps each game's original file name and start time on the platform; the records themselves are still downloaded from the platform.
